DAY 01

Begin your 'Enchanting China' Tour,

Arrive into Beijing

Welcome to China. On arrival at Beijing Airport, our local representative will be

waiting outside the airport to welcome you and to take you to your hotel.

DAY 02

The Forbidden City,

Tiananmen Square and Hutong Tour

After a buffet breakfast, we take you on a tour of Tiananmen Square and

Forbidden City conducted by an expert English speaking guide. See Tiananmen

Square, the largest square in the world.

Visit the Forbidden City, an awesome 250 acre complex of palaces, pavilions

and gardens.

After lunch we take you on a Rickshaw tour of Hutong the Old quarter of

Beijing. Roam through Beijing's old, narrow streets, hutongs, by old-fashioned

Rickshaw to visit the old quadrangles, and learn about the daily life of ordinary

Beijing citizens.

DAY 03

The Great Wall of China, Temple of Heaven

After a buffet breakfast, we take you on tour of the 3,946 mile long Great Wall of

China. The wall is a symbol of China's ancient civilization and ranks among the

greatest ancient monuments in history.

Post lunch go on a visit of the Temple of Heaven. Temple of Heaven was the

place where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties came to worship the God

of Heaven and pray for good harvests. The highlight of this tour is the blue tile-

roofed Hall of prayer. It is an awesome sight to visit the Temple of Heaven in the

morning to see Chinese people practice Tai Chi and various other sports and

dance forms to stay fit.

DAY 04

Onto Xian, Visit city wall

After a buffet breakfast, we proceed to the station for your bullet train to Xian.

On arrival we visit the City Wall of Xian that was first built during the Tang

Dynasty. Enjoy a stroll over the wall and have a panoramic view of the city.

DAY 05

Terracotta Warriors,

Big Wild Goose Pagoda

After a buffet breakfast, we proceed on a tour of Xian. See the world famous

Terracotta Warriors at the tomb of the First Emperor of China. See more than

6000 molded soldiers, officers, horses and wagons of this famed army.

Later we visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652

AD. Dinner at a restaurant.

DAY 06

Xian/Zhangjiajie

Today after breakfast drive to the airport for your flight to Zhangjiajie.

We arrive into Zhangjiajie and proceed to the National park for a gentle stroll

through the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park entrance area. The lower trails

near the visitor center are mostly flat and paved, perfect for easing into the

landscape. Admire the iconic sandstone pillars without venturing far.

DAY 07

Tianmen Mountain

After a buffet breakfast, we proceed on a full day tour of Tianmen Mountain

(Cable Car & Light Walking). Morning Head to Tianmen Mountain (Heaven‟s

Gate Mountain) — the highlight of the trip. Take the world‟s longest cable car

(about 7km) for breathtaking aerial views of the forest. No hiking required for

the ride itself.

Mid-Morning

At the top, walk the Cliff-hanging Walkway — a glass-bottomed path along the

cliffside. Its slow-paced and guardrailed, though skip it if heights are a concern.

The summit area has benches and rest points throughout.

Afternoon

Visit the famous Tianmen Cave (Heaven‟s Gate arch) — you can take a shuttle

bus partway up and limit stair climbing based on comfort. Descend via cable

car. Dinner at a restaurant.

Overnight in Zhangjiajie.

DAY 08

Yuanjiajie & Baofeng Lake

Today after breakfast in the hotel, take the Bailong Elevator (the world‟s tallest

outdoor elevator, built into a cliff face) up to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area — this is the

area that inspired the floating mountains in Avatar. The top plateau has

relatively flat, well-maintained boardwalks. Stroll to the Avatar Hallelujah

Mountain viewing platform at your own pace.

Afternoon, head to Baofeng Lake for a peaceful boat ride through the emerald-

green gorge — entirely seated and effortless. This is one of the most relaxing

experiences in Zhangjiajie and perfect for seniors.

DAY 09

High speed train from Zhangjiajie to Chongqing

This morning check out of the hotel and proceed to the station for your high

speed train to Chongqing. Arrive into Chongqing and explore the highlights of

Chongqing on a carefully designed city tour that blends modern cityscapes, local

culture, and traditional performances.

Start by visiting Chongqing‟s famous light rail viewpoint, where the train passes

directly through a residential building — a striking symbol of the city‟s unique

urban design.

Kuixing Tower: A hillside retreat once visited by students seeking academic

luck. Enjoy sweeping views of the Jialing River and soak in the tranquil charm

of old Chongqing. Don‟t be surprised if you lose your sense of direction — are

you on the ground floor or the 22nd? This is where you'll truly feel why

Chongqing is known as China‟s „8D Magic City.‟

This evening we do a Hongya cave night

tour. Dinner at a restaurant.

DAY 10

Chongqing /Cruise

Today after breakfast in the hotel, we drive to visit the Chongqing Zoo to see the

Giant Panda.

Ciqikou Ancient Town: A vibrant heritage site brimming with centuries-old

architecture, bustling shops, and local flavors. Wander its picturesque streets

and soak in its rich history as a vital port town.

Later proceed to the wharf and board the cruise.

Enjoy a Chinese / Continental dinner on the cruise.

Overnight on the cruise in the comfort of your own cabin.

Day 11

Shibaozhai

Today after breakfast we take you on a shore excursion to Shibaozhai, with its

impressive wooden pagoda, appropriately named “The Pearl of the Yangtze”.

Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to

Fengdu, visiting the new relocation village built for families who have moved as a

result of the Yangtze‟s rising waters brought about by the Three Gorges Dam.

Additional optional Shore Excursion to Fengdu‟s “Ghost City” (river

conditions

permitting), known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill. Chinese

Lunch and Dinner on board.

Day 12

Three Little Georges

Today after a leisurely breakfast pass the second Gorge, Wu Gorge. You will

disembark at Wushan Daning River for an excursion to the Three Little Gorges.

The trip features a fantastic natural backdrop and a wonderful boat ride along

the crystal stream. The motorized sampan allows you to experience a speedy

adventure and have a close look at mossy rocks, verdant plants, plank roads,

ancient coffins and precious animals. Lunch and Dinner on board.

Day 13

Three Georges Dam of Yichang,

High speed train to Shanghai

Disembark this morning and take a tour of the Three Gorges Dam, the world‟s

largest power station. After the tour in late morning, Victoria Cruises will provide

a motor coach to nearby Yichang. Later take a high speed train to Shanghai.

Arrive into Shanghai and check into your hotel.

DAY 14

Yu Yuan Garden,

Nanjing Road for shopping and the

Bund Acrobatic show

After breakfast, Visit Yu Yuan Garden, a traditional Chinese park with beautiful

pavilions, miniature lakes and bridges.

After lunch visit the famous Bund area and Nanjing road, the famous shopping

street in Shanghai. You can shop for clothes, electronics and various other items.

This evening enjoy an acrobatic show.

DAY 15

Half day tour of Zhujiajiao Water Village

French Concession

Today after breakfast and proceed on a scenic journey to Zhujiajiao. On arrival,

embark on a guided walking tour of the town with your knowledgeable guide;

meander through winding streets parallel to picturesque waterways and learn

about the rich heritage of the perfectly preserved village. See the area from an

alternative perspective on a tranquil river cruise and then visit two of Zhujiajiao‟s

sacred and significant temples; listen as your guide explains the cultural

significance of the structures.

Later return to Shanghai and visit to the French Concession. The leafy boulevards

of the elegant French Concession are home to cozy live-music venues and boutique

wine bars, as well as indie fashion shops and European delis.

DAY 16

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport

for your flight home.
