Auckland - "The City of Sails"
On arrival at Auckland airport, you will be greeted by your friendly and experienced SOTC Tour Manager / Local representative outside the baggage hall. Proceed and check into your hotel. DAY 02
Enjoy a city tour of this beautiful and pristine city. Proceed to Rotorua – "The Thermal City." Hobbiton tour with local feast lunch
After an American breakfast at the hotel, check out and get set for a fun day as we take you for a city tour of Auckland Harbour Bridge and a waterfront drive. See the West Haven Marina and the War Memorial Museum and drive through the Parnell onto Bastion Point, amongst Auckland's most expensive residential areas. Proceed to Matamata. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the Hobbiton movie set. In the heart of the Mighty Waikato region, you can explore the lush postures of the Shire with a guided walking tour of Hobbiton, as featured in the Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit Trilogies. Later, proceed to Rotorua. With its unique volcanic landscape, living Maori culture, and natural hot springs, Rotorua is one of New Zealand's most famous destinations. Enjoy Dinner. Witness the Agrodome Sheep Show, an exciting and informative insight into New Zealand agriculture featuring different breeds of sheep, sheep shearing, cow milking, lamb feeding, and dog demonstrations. Later, do the Farm Tour and climb aboard the comfortable, all-weather trailer as knowledgeable guides take you on a journey around the farm where you learn about and have a chance to hand-feed some of the animals. Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to wander the bubbling mud pools and see the famous 'Pohutu' Geyser. Marvel at Mother Nature's light display as you glide silently through the starry wonderland caves of Glow-worm situated underground along the Waitomo River and gaze silently at the myriad of glow-worm lights that make up the Glow-worm Grotto. Today, we set out for the most spectacular cruise to the Milford Sound.
After an American breakfast, depart from Queenstown and travel via Te Anau to the stunning glacier-carved Eglington Valley and through the awe-inspiring Homer Tunnel to arrive at Milford Sound. Enjoy the full-day tour on an unforgettable journey to arrive at Milford Sound cruise, which sails right up to the mouth of the Tasman Sea (weather permitting). Enjoy lunch on board the cruise. Journey into the untouched paradise of Milford Sound and explore the natural wonders and history surrounding this deep fiord. Later tonight, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at a local restaurant. After an American breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Twizel / Omarama in the Mount Cook region. En route, visit Mrs Jone's Fresh fruit stall, one of the best-known fruit stalls in Central Otago, where people from all over the world visit. The fruit stall stocks many fresh fruits, dried fruits, nuts, honey products, and vegetables. Next, we visit Puzzling World Wanaka, which has been messing with people's heads regardless of age, nationality, or experience. We invite you to come and enjoy Wanaka's extraordinary World of weirdness! Later, travel to the scenic Mt Cook Lookout point at the lakefront of Pukaki (visibility is subject to weather conditions). DAY 09
Christchurch Orientation tour
This morning, after breakfast, proceed to Christchurch en route to the picturesque Lake Tekapo and see the iconic Sheep Dog Monument and Church of Good Shepherd. Lake Tekapo is one of the six beautiful lakes in Twizel. Later, continue descending the mountain ranges across Canterbury plains to the Garden City – Christchurch, and then enjoy a city tour that includes the beautiful Mona Vale gardens, re-constructed CBD, and the new 'cardboard' Cathedral. DAY 10
Fly to Melbourne – the Victorian Capital. Transfer to your hotel—orientation tour of Melbourne.
On arrival at Melbourne airport, take the shuttle transfers to the hotel and check-in. Check-in at 1400. After an American breakfast at the hotel or a boxed breakfast, we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Cairns. Later, proceed to Kuranda – a World Heritage Rainforest. Experience a one-way Skyrail journey that immerses you in an intimate experience where you will relax and enjoy the stunning rainforest scenery, panoramic views of the Cairns tropical region, and the glittering waters of the Coral Sea. DAY 13
Join us for an unforgettable experience at the Great Barrier Reef, the only living structure visible from space.
This morning, you can go for hot air ballooning (Boxed Breakfast). Later, after an early breakfast at your hotel, we boarded the cruise to Green Island. Escape into a world of surprises to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. There is an abundance of activities for swimmers and non-swimmers to enjoy.
